My daughter is a total daredevil, so I do have to keep an eye on her though! It is annoying when schools um and ah then close half way through the day. That can cause so much inconvenience for families. better to have a policy and stick to it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-62047751379372567052013-01-18T11:09:26.989+00:002013-01-18T11:09:26.989+00:00I'm applauding wildly!!

Whilst they don't generally close, they don't let the kids out to play in it which is scandalous!

Enjoy the white stuff xLiz Burtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05860282774080831783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-77156278872815573042013-01-18T10:43:09.999+00:002013-01-18T10:43:09.999+00:00love this post!! here here for common sense!love this post!! here here for common sense!Jaime Oliverhttp://theoliversmadhouse.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-69320220662553177522013-01-17T20:34:53.815+00:002013-01-17T20:34:53.815+00:00oh dear, I heard of a school closing 'incase i...oh dear, I heard of a school closing 'incase it snowed' the other day - and it never did snow!! so silly!Sarahmumof3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03928332640674423684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-19090593826773564272013-01-17T20:33:26.780+00:002013-01-17T20:33:26.780+00:00I remmeber having long playtimes out in the snow w...I remmeber having long playtimes out in the snow when I was at school,I can't remmeber the school ever closing...Sarahmumof3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03928332640674423684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-73331344448962592182013-01-17T20:32:30.783+00:002013-01-17T20:32:30.783+00:00we don't actually get much snow here at all, b...we don't actually get much snow here at all, but we do pretty much get some each year so why on earth everyone makes a huge deal out of it I don't knowSarahmumof3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03928332640674423684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-68949741836390999752013-01-17T20:31:34.848+00:002013-01-17T20:31:34.848+00:00I want to come play in your fields with your nephe...I want to come play in your fields with your nephews!! The kids would be kept in cause it's "dangerous" so it's probably better. In the 60s when there was 6m of snow schools stayed open. They had snowmen comps etc. We need to get real. Kids need to learn to take risks! Always makes me laug...Sounds like a great school! Always makes me laugh over here, NOTHING stops for the snow, which can be slightly annoying. Children must start wearing snow gear as soon as the weather turns cold (beginning of December usually), and they are out at play time whatever the weather. I accompanied my Son's class on a school trip before Christmas, a group of 5 year olds visiting one of the Christmas Markets. It was -16 - we still went! :D Good luck tomorrow, stay safe! :) BavarianSojournhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701272367912860549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8829710682305692388.post-15038175998954824082013-01-17T18:22:42.280+00:002013-01-17T18:22:42.280+00:00Sounds like a great idea. Let's face it, kids ...Sounds like a great idea. Let's face it, kids have snowball fights at home (and our nephews go sledging on hills that are extremely steep, riding the quad bike up them to get to the top - not one has yet broken anything and the oldest is 13), so why not at school.
We have no gritting round by us, it's quite hilly on every route to a main road (which last year wasn't even gritted), and it takes ages for drifted snow to clear so I tend to be stranded for a while as I hate driving in it. It's a bonus if you don't need to be anywhere as it is good having our own fields, but I hate it for actually doing anything day to day.Emma Thttp://www.bubbablueandme.comnoreply@blogger.com
