Very nice! we saw one similar in the transport museum yesterday.
Thank you, we only got it yesterday found it alone and unloved in a clearence wearhouse, it still has its instruction manule and certificate receipt from 1930! its really lovely!
Wow! Thats some find!
Wow, you still have this? Does it still work? Fabulous.
we only got it yesterday found it in a junk clearance wearhouse for just £15!! its still got all its paperwork from 1930, we haven't yet given it ago.. going to set it up later but it sure is lovely
Lovely. I want one. I have an old hand singer that works, but sadly not on a table.
Oh wow! An oldie but bet it is better than some of the new ones we get these days!
I can't sew to save my life but I love these old sewing machines. I can remember using one with my Mum at home when I was little as she wouldn't let me loose on her fancy dan electric one!
how lovely, always great to see such a great piece of history restored, hope you get to use it!
That's beautiful - is it very old? Oh how times have changed! x
Beautiful! I Love it! x
What a bargain - I wonder if it still works!
You'll have to use it....but, in any case, it's a lovely piece of "kit"
cool old piece! :)
Oh Sarah this has brought back so many memories - my mum has one EXACTLY the same!! As a kid I used to love standing at it and using the pedal. So fab to see xx
Wow what a great find, lucky you!
I have always wanted one of those Singer tables, but without the machine (can't sew to save myself anyway), but with a marble top instead. Gorgeous.
Will you be using it?
That's a beautiful Singer. Is it yours and do you use it?
love this, my mum had one like this up until a few years ago!
Gawd, that's a blast from the past!
My Grandma has one very similar. What a beautiful machine.
Lucky you finding an old Singer. Does it still work?
Beautiful, we had one when I was younger but sadly could not take it with us when we moved house
Love these old sewing machines... but would be totally useless at operating one!
I've always wanted to use one of these.
