I am about the same age as that girl, and I understand if she's younger, but her drawings are extremely disproportionate. Honestly, they don't really look like creatures from Earth. Completely screwed up the structure. It's good you love something enough to where it developed into your passion for one thing and then another. Two in one! But at least try to TRACE to see how the features of the wolf are really supposed to be. Or study them a little more. I've been there and it is not fun... There are haters out there, and they can really bring you down. Everyone knows how hard it can be for you to hold back and let someone embarrass themselves though. So please don't take these comments to seriously. Take some advice, and leave the inconsiderate comments behind. You'll get there, sooner of later!
Same age? What are you talking about? Your phraseology is distinguished and eminent. I bet your mom had to help you write that. Lol Or you perhaps had to look up words from a dictionary. You are acting like you are way older than 9 years old, when in reality you aren't. Just saying...
OK. I am 12 now and get a lot of praise for my drawings (follow me on instagram: the_artists_paintbrush). When I was 9, I didn't. Ever. I didn't have that touch for art. But, when I was 10, I decided I wanted to get better. So, I chose an animal (I chose dragons) and got some tutorials on youtube of how to draw them. Then, I got better and better until I could draw an amazing dragon all on my own. Also, once you get to that stage in your artistic talent, you will start getting your own style of drawing. To enhance my style, I took some art classes so they could teach me just about every technique there is in drawing, painting and in collages.
Ok this artwork is of course amazing, for the age. There is no limit to be good at drawing, but just because she is young and her art isn't the best doesn't mean you can dish on her. She is a kid and as she gets older she gets better, its just common sense
I bet you Zach Millar couldn't draw better than that! She can draw better than me. Keep up the awesome work Chloe!!! As for you Zach Millar, get a life! Stop hating on AMAZING art work please.
I can't believe how many mean and horrible comments are on this post about a child's drawings - let me just say that again for clarity - a CHILDS drawings - who cares if her picture doesn't look like a Van Gogh - art is about how people perceive images there's paintings hung in art galleries by famous artists worth thousands that I personally don't like and think they're awful!! I don't rush over write a note telling the artist they stink and leave it with the artwork though - I simply walk on by - which is what most of you people commenting should have done - don't like it - just pass on by! Why feel the need to write horrid nasty things to a young girl, a child? Did any of you stop to consider her feelings in all this?
When I was around her age I would never stop drawing! For five years it was everyday, draw a wolf, draw a dog, draw this, draw that! I am still working on getting to free hand but I think that I will get there soon, for now I'll just look at pictures. And I believe that in time she will become greater than Van Gogh with the pase she is going at. Keep up the great work and don't let the rude and crude comments get to you!
Okay, if she's like... 7-8 this is pretty good. I'm sorry Chloe, i love your drawings, i really do. wolves are literally my life and i spent tons of time on drawing them. All i have to say is keep doing what you love. :D you definately will get better.
these are some of the worst drawings ever
ReplyDeleteDon't be too hard on her, she's only young.

ReplyDeleteYou also might want to try to get a different hobby, Chloe. Maybe drawing isn't your thing.
